Christina is the author of a trilogy of memoirs. This Place You Know tells the story of her childhood in the outback and the rupture of her family and life caused by her father’s departure. A Practice of Loss: Memoir of an Abandoning Mother tells of the failure of her marriage and abduction of her three young daughters. A Gradual Grace: The Final Memoir tells of the healing of the unforgivable and the alchemy of love and forgiveness, turning dark gifts into gold. She has a PhD and a Masters degree in life writing, and mentors and edits writers, both academic and creative.

Christina lives in northern New South Wales, after thirty years of living in Western Australia. The dark, moody and often mist-shrouded Border Ranges form the backdrop of her daily writing space.
